First Visit
We’re excited to meet you and make you feel at home in our office! Our team is dedicated to providing you with a comfortable, stress-free treatment experience in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
We believe each smile should hit three principles:
Balanced, Esthetic, and Unique.
- Balanced – smiles that take into account the jaw and face structure. This gives the ideal smile curvature to fit the face, and provide the best bite to protect the teeth for years to come.
- Esthetic – Maximize the specific tooth positions to promote a lasting youthful smile supporting the facial structures and lips.
- Unique – we do not do cookie cutter here. We take time during our consultations with you to truly build our goals and expectations together. Each person has differences in tooth shape, in facial balance, and lip support.
While Balanced and Esthetic smiles are the foundation, Unique is the cherry on top. Truly spending the time in a world always racing 0-60, is why we have been doing this for over 40 years! At Patenaude Orthodontics you are YOU, not a number, and we can’t wait to show you your unique smile.
During your initial visit, we’ll walk you through our process and procedures, taking the time to thoroughly discuss your tailored treatment options, projected length of treatment, and associated fees. The best part? This consultation won’t cost you a penny.
Should treatment be recommended, we offer flexibility for payment and will work to coordinate everything for you. We will reach out if needed to your dentist to help cross coordinate to make everything as streamlined as it can be! We want to minimize missing any school/work as we would want the same with our family!

Insurance and Finance
At Patenaude Orthodontics, we are committed to making a healthy, confident smile affordable for everyone. During your initial appointment, we will conduct a complimentary benefits check to help you plan for the costs of treatment. As orthodontic insurance coverage differs depending on your carrier and plan, we want to ensure transparency and eliminate any unexpected fees.
Please note that treatment costs may also vary, dependent on the severity of treatment and type recommended by our orthodontists. Rest assured, we will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan that fits your medical, financial, and aesthetic concerns.
Our Most Popular Treatments
Aligners
Aka: Spark, Invisalign etc. they are a series of clear trays that have been generated by computer simulation to gradually move the teeth. Invisalign patients wear their aligners all the time and remove them only to eat, brush, and floss. This system is available to adult patients and teenagers with certain orthodontic problems. With extensive advancement in aligner technology many are candidates for aligners with an Orthodontist that understands how to leverage aligner physics. Ask us if you are a candidate for Invisalign.
Limited Treatment
Lost a retainer, and waited a minute…? Have a small space or out of place tooth, but the bite is good? Preparing for veneers, crowns, implants or any other dental work? Sometimes a small adjustment is enough to make a big difference. Or simply, have a simple case? Aligners or Braces can be used often to achieve these goals quickly with no need for months on months or years of treatment. This goes hand in hand with being more affordable than one might think as well.
Traditional/ Silver Metal Braces
Traditional stainless-steel braces are still worn by many orthodontic patients. Many of our patients who enjoy the different colored elastic ties wear metal braces. The force control of brackets and wires still offers the ability in treating to the maximum level of complexity in an orthodontic case.
